The cloud has transformed the world around us–from the way we consume entertainment to how we stay in touch with friends and family. It’s also fundamentally changed how we work. Employees today expect access to the information and services they need despite the limitations of legacy tools. Cloud workers are probably already in your organization right now, and their numbers will continue to grow as cloud adoption increases. While many businesses are moving their operations to the cloud, they might be leaving benefits on the table by continuing to use legacy devices and platforms for their workforce.

How can you equip cloud workers with tools that enable them to develop insights, make critical decisions in real time, and drive competitive business advantage? We’ll be exploring this topic as part of our first-ever Cloud Worker Live event, a half-day virtual event featuring Google executives, customers and partners including Blend, Randstad, Rentokill Initial, Forrester, Fourcast, Fronde, Promevo and Citrix.

Cloud Worker Live features insights and practical advice on the journey to enabling cloud workers and how IT can better serve this emerging workforce segment. Three key things you’ll take away:

  • Why cloud-based endpoints are better, and how to make the transition.

  • How to build a secure end-user computing environment.

  • How to make the business case for cloud-based endpoints.

We’ll be addressing your questions live throughout the event.

In addition to hearing from Google executives, partners and customers, the event will feature an opening fireside chat on the impact of cloud computing on the employee experience with Adam Grant, psychologist, author and professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in organizational psychology. Adam has authored multiple New York Times Best Sellers on work and psychology, and currently hosts the TED podcast WorkLife.
