More and more businesses are looking to modernize applications using container-based architectures, and increasingly they want a consistent experience whether on premises or in the cloud. To help, today we’re announcing a partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to offer our shared customers a hybrid cloud solution based on Anthos.
To deliver a consistent experience with Anthos in a hybrid cloud environment, we’re announcing HPE Validated Designs for Anthos based on HPE’s SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and HPE Nimble Storage with Proliant server offering.
To provide choice in how businesses consume their IT infrastructure, HPE can offer the validated on-premises infrastructure in a traditional purchase model or a pay-per-use consumption model with HPE GreenLake.
By bringing together Anthos and HPE’s hyperconverged infrastructure, our shared customers can unlock new levels of speed and agility by simplifying the building, running and managing of modern applications in a hybrid environment.
“Customers–especially enterprises–tell us they value choice, simplicity, and consistency when building their hybrid cloud strategy,” says Phil Davis, President of Hybrid IT and Chief Sales Officer, HPE. “By partnering with Google Cloud and leveraging a container-based approach, HPE can now offer a seamless hybrid cloud experience with the option to do it all as-a-service. This approach, powered by Anthos and HPE GreenLake, gives our customers the freedom to modernize at their own pace with the HPE infrastructure of their choice.”
