Cloud Immersion Experience: The Azure Kubernetes Challenge

IMPORTANT NOTE: Workshop content presumes a 300-level of architectural expertise of infrastructure and solutions design in this domain (even if on another platform).

Are you a developer, technical lead or DevOps engineer looking to get hands dirty and practice how you can package, deploy and scale your applications with containers, Kubernetes and Azure?

Join us for a 1-day hands on immersive experience where you will:

• Be guided through a hands-on, structured and increasingly robust set of challenges delivered by technical Azure and Kubernetes subject matter experts
• Learn the best practices of Kubernetes on Azure that you can apply to your environment today
• Understand how other Azure services can work with Kubernetes to help you build and ship quicker

• Azure Monitor
• Any other Microsoft or third-party tooling or services that you wish to use

Please note: The event presumes at minimum a basic understanding of containerization and orchestration solutions. We suggest attendees review aka.ms/LearnAKS before joining the challenge.

Please ensure you bring your own laptop and we recommend installing the following tools:

• Install the Azure CLI 2.0, get it here

• Install Kubectl, get it here – https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/tools/install-kubectl/
• Install Postman, get it here – https://www.getpostman.com – this is optional but useful
